Meteor Press was a South African comic book publisher that secured the rights to reprint key Marvel Comics issues. They commenced publication in 1995 with titles such as Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men and Wolverine. The company’s titles were printed by Paarl Post and distributed by NND. The company entered into voluntary liquidation in 1997. Following the company’s winding up, there was an estimated shortfall to creditors of ZAR1 million.
